How do I book a rental?

When is my booking guaranteed?

As soon as your 50% deposit is paid, your booking is guaranteed.

Do you provide helmet and gloves?

We recomend you bring your own helmet and gloves for comfort, as we only have a limited number of helmets for loan.

What are the licence requirements to book a Harley-Davidson rental?

Do ride you need a full clean "A" motocylce licence and have riding experience for at least 2 years on a motorcycle above 250cc.

Can I take the motorcycle abroad?

Yes, for a fee of £25 per week you can travel abroad. Our Tour Oprator unit Lind Tours can also book for you Eurotunnel crossings.

Is the a excess on the Insurance?

Yes, the excess is £1,500. It can be reduced to £1,000 for £10/day.

The pick-up

When is my bike ready for pick-up?

Our dealerships are open from 8:30, and your chosen motorcycle will be ready for pick-up about 1 hour prior to booked rental time start. Best come to the dealership at least 30 minutes prior to departure to complete paperwork.

Can I park my car at the dealership?

Yes, there is plenty of free parking space, you can leave your car at the dealership at your own risk.

Can I store my luggage at the dealership?

Yes, we are happy to store your luggage for the duration of your rental.

What documents do I have to provide?

You need to bring your driving licence and know your NI number, also bring your credit card and a ultility bill confirming the address of your licence.

In June 2015 the paper counterpart of the photo licence was abolished, and informations about penalty points (endorsements) will be checked - with your permisson - online. For this, you will need as identification your National Insurance number. You can check your data here: https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence.

I have never ridden a Harey-Davidson, will the controls be explained to me?

Of course, the controls, looks and Smart Security System will be explained to you.

Will the bike be fuelled?

Yes, your tank will be full, and we expect the bike to be returned with a full tank. There are refuelling stations next to our dealerships.
