Norwich Harley-Davidson of the Lind Group is extremely proud to announce technician Steve Cantle has achieved Harley-Davidson Master Technician status. This title can only be obtained after a high level of official training and work has been achieved, which involves completing a minimum of 10 instructor led courses, 34 days of instructed training and a satisfactory completion of 30 online courses.
The time period to undertake all the required training courses to achieve Master Technician status takes five years in order for all Harley-Davidson technicians to correctly learn and apply their training. The qualification is valid for one year but annual supplementary courses ensure the distinguished title of Master Technician is maintained. This extended training programme also means Harley-Davidson Master Technicians continue forward with the latest technical knowledge, which is continually evolving with the latest Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
Steve Cantle has a favourite bike for every mood but has a special fondness for “muscle bikes” of the 70’s and 80’s and, of course, Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Steve joined the Lind Group five years ago and has been a technician for 20 years – technical roles in the past include working in a British bike spares shop in the eighties! Steve also maintained and repaired his own motorcycles, so making a career from the hobby he enjoyed was a logical decision: a decision which we are glad he made.
From us all at Norwich Harley-Davidson and the Lind Group, we say well done on your achievement and award, Steve. You deserve it.
