This week’s Motorcycle News features 7 great biker cafes to ride to this weekend. The weather is looking great and we are seeing more and more of you in our stores. Biker cafes are a great British biking tradition, located on lovely roads to ride on and an excuse to get out and meet like-minded people. So why not make a weekend of it, come and see us at Guildford, Newmarket, Norwich and Readng Harley-Davidson then ride on to one of the bikers favourite cafés.
Squires Café Bar – Sherburn in Elmet, North Yorkshire.
This one may be a little far for some of our customers but perhaps you were riding that way anyway? Or maybe you fancy an extra-long ride this weekend. We didn’t want to miss this gem off the list!
Ace Café – North Circular Road, London.
The atmosphere and sense of history at Ace Café are second to none. We couldn’t think of anything better than a weekend trip to enjoy the buzz. This Café isn’t a long trip from any of our dealerships so if you’re visiting us this weekend why not swing by the Ace Café
Ponderosa Café – Horseshoe Pass, Llangollen, Wales.
1400 feet up in the Welsh hills you will find the Ponderosa Café. The best riding roads in the UK are in Wales and you will see spectacular views. If you’re feeling spontaneous this weekend why not take trip? Or save it in the bank for when you have some time to ride! It’s definitely worth a visit.
Ryka’s Café – Box Hill, Dorking, Surrey.
A tea stop on the edge of Box Hill that’s been around since 1920’s for bikers. The tradition continues and you’ll feel at home on any bike. Some of our Guildford Harley-Davidson customers may be familiar with Ryka’s Café but it’s worth a trip from a far too!
Pit Stop Diner – Stockton-on-Tees.
The Pit Stop won Britain’s best biking spot in 2010 and is a great place to hang out! The Pit Stop is located close to the A171 that runs through North Yorkshire so quite a journey for some of our local customers – but worthwhile!
Wessons Café – Horam, East Sussex.
This café is modelled on the American Diner theme and has been open since 1970’s. This café sees many bikers every weekend. You can head south towards to A27 to Brighton and run through the South Downs National Park.
Super Sausage Café – Towcester, Northants.
This café was voted best café in Britain in 2016 and it’s only a 10 minute ride from Silverstone. There’s even a helmet park! The B645 is close by and although it’s not a long road its endless twists and turns are very popular!
Happy riding all!
