Members of Norwich Harley-Davidson’s Iceni Chapter, the Harley-Davidson Riding Group of Norfolk deliver a special gift this Easter for local childrens charity ‘Sunbeams Play’ in Gapton, Great Yarmouth.
Harley-Davidson Owners Groups are renowned for the good deeds in which they carry out each year including a considerable amount charity fundraising. The Iceni Chapter last year raised over £2,000 for local charities including Sunbeams Play and Norfolk Blood Bikes. For the fourth year in a row, the group based out of our Harley-Davidson dealership in Norwich and headed by Director Jeff Bacon continue to support ‘Sunbeams Play’ who provide a fun, caring and safe haven for children and young people with autism.
Jeff and 15 Iceni Chapter members rode their Harley-Davidson motorcycles to Great Yarmouth in the rain to visit Sunbeams Play on Gapton Hall Road to deliver over 130 Easter Eggs along with a cheque for £1,000.
The children loved the bikes and many were excited to take a seat in the saddle and the parents took the opportunity to thank the Harley-Davidson riders for their continued support and donations of over £4,000. Sunbeams Play will be using this donation to contribute towards installing artificial grass to provide a cleaner and easier to maintain outdoor play area.
