The highly anticipated two all-new Sportster models arrival is fast approaching. We are gearing up to introduce the Iron 1200 and Forty-Eight Special to our customers and team over the next few weeks and have the MCN first ride review.
The press and motorcycle enthusiasts have been out in Croatia putting the new models to the test and the verdict is making us even more excited to receive the brand new models; The Iron 1200 and the Forty-Eight Special. Both have their own unique look and identity while sharing the same engine and frame.
The team at MCN have been out in Croatia riding the new models and have released their first ride review claiming “ the Sportser we’ve been waiting for” is how they’ve described the all-new Iron 1200. They go on to say: “The Iron 1200 puts out 66bhp and 73ft lbs of torque – a significant bump up from the 883. This gives it much more drive out of the corners and when out for a fun ride, you can just leave it in third gear and ride everywhere on a wave of torque.”
In Croatia the MCN press team also rode the Forty-Eight Special which they also had fantastic praise for. “beefy front forks add some extra stiffness upfront lending a more sure-footed feel.” They also commented on the classic styling of the motorcycle “In contrast to the Iron 1200, the Forty-Eight Special has a more classic appeal with the maximum possible square inches of chrome including rocker boxes, primary, inspection and derby covers.”
