Would you jump off a cliff, eat the world’s hottest chilli or get waxed and wear fake tan and fancy dress for the chance to win a brand new customised Harley-Davidson motorcycle? Three teams of British bikers did all of that and more this month to secure the prize of a customised Harley-Davidson Street Bob® motorcycle and a trip to Hawaii – the spiritual home of famed tattoo artist Norman ‘Sailor Jerry’ Collins.
Now it’s your chance to win, but the good news is that you don’t have to do anything more extreme than watch a video of the teams’ antics during The Ride 2016. Sailor Jerry – the spiced rum specialists behind the epic nine-day riding adventure – are giving you a chance to win a 2016 custom Street 750, with one simple watch and win competition.
Click here to watch the teams, The Originals, London based Kingdom of Kicks and Welsh team FTH go head-to-head in a series of challenges. Make sure you watch the video through to the end then head over to the Sailor Jerry website to enter the competition.
From creating one custom Sailor Jerry Street Bob per team to riding them across the UK to score points by shark eating, tattooing and indoor skydiving, the video shows how the bikers were pushed to their limit in a bid to be crowned champions of The Ride 2016 following the finale at a mini festival in Hertfordshire on Saturday 9th July.
Pro BMX’er, Fids from winning team The Originals said: “It has been awesome riding around the country with Sailor Jerry. Especially finally getting to ride our custom Harley-Davidson®, it was well worth the wait. Plus, it’s not every day you get to don fake tan, fake nails and fancy dress on the back of a sick Harley-Davidson Street Bob. It’s definitely been one of my favourite rides to date.”
Steve Colling Harley-Davidson UK & Ireland Marketing Manager commented: “The Ride 2016 has been fantastic to follow and shows the fun you can have when you just get out and ride with a group of friends. The Sailor Jerry challenges really put the bikers to the test in their pursuit of their dream bike, but there could only be one winner, so well done to The Originals. We look forward to seeing where they take their custom Street Bob next!”
